Well, you are correct about it being repressed. Try a good dozen or so times thanks in part to the supply and demand factor of old schoolers in the UK (mid 90's) and the breaks popularity of Florida state. I saw this first hand in the shipping/ receiving department at Watts (circa '95/96) where a skid would flow in from Henry Street (yes, the label responsible for Kenny Dope's "The Bomb" by the contagious Bucketheads) and be desolved by mid afternoon to just about every corner of the planet. I'd have to say the main reason was simply the popularity of that annoying sample stolen by Urban Takeover's mainman, Mickey Finn who dropped the nasties on the flipside cut, "Boom Box". It's just too bad things didn't go better for Fourth Floor/ EXperimental/ Fokus which all seemed to lose steam around '94 when house really took over Northcott and Silvio only pushed the hits.
