At first the new Villalobos album seemed a bit bland to me, but with repeated listens and a newly descended Fall, the record has become new again. Great sounds and textures everywhere, and a woozy, melancholy vibe prevails. Definitely one of my favorites of the year of any genre. Anyone have any profound thoughts on this record?
