At first the new Villalobos album seemed a bit bland to me, but with repeated listens and a newly descended Fall, the record has become new again. Great sounds and textures everywhere, and a woozy, melancholy vibe prevails. Definitely one of my favorites of the year of any genre. Anyone have any profound thoughts on this record? SV
Waiting for this one in the mail still, but I'll second the recommendation for his Taka Taka mix.
