This is one of the reasons I dislike Pioneer mixers, especially on large
systems.  All the processing is done digitally, so if the DJ gets carried
away and the master signal is at any more than one or two notches into the
red you get wonderful digital distortion that no limiter in the world will
prevent from hitting the mains.  Mixers with analog guts like Vestax or A &
H (I think - ???) are much more forgiving.

Or maybe I'm just saying in a roundabout way that when I get carried away I
can't control my levels ;)
