still not feeling outkast or common. i despise the american
version of the NERD, i prefer the original electronic recording.
erykah badu's record was really great i thought. i didnt really
feel much hiphop at all this year. i was looking forward to the
jaylib and madvillan releases both of which were underwhelming.
the hiphop cat of hte year must be kev brown. his beats are the
only ones i even bother listening to at the hiphop record shop i
work in. mainstream-wise i always get "right thurr" stuck in my
head. i love how much people hate that song. its so fantastic.
