"Pacific 0101" by 808 State was in every Detroit DJ's crate and all over the
radio from 98 to 92 or so. I remember Gary Chandler dropping "Cubik" a few
times on various mix shows, so 808 State was definitely popular for a
minute.

Im quite suprised that 808 are right up there, they made the charts
in the UK. Didnt realise they were such a big influence outside of the UK.
Funny how we dismiss homegrown talent. Looks like the Brits had quite an
influence. Good to see JAtkins, KSanderson and Dmay represented.
