Begged, Borrowed, Bought......

Theo Parrish - Twin Cities - Harmonie Park
Something a little fresh for theo here on the a. Much rawer beats,a jerkier
sub-bass
line (while remaing at that typical tempo) combine with detroit style pads
and a nice
jangling riff to give something a lil different. Nice. Club orientated
b-side heads
straight into familiar theo territory. Off key chords, mashed up kick drum,
filtered drums, female vocal sample drifting in and out of the mix gets a
little
bit tricky in the middle with some nice subtle key work before heading back
out
into that deeper than deep theo vibe. Reminding very much of the earler
sound
signature output. Not one to be sleeping on.
Ross154 - Till My Heart Stops/Kaoz - M>O>S
Heart wrenchingly beautiful, emotive techno music once more from Holland.
Soaring strings, plinky pads backed with raw beats - this can't fail to
touch
you straight away. This actually reminds me a little of m>o>s production
and fits
very nicely on this 2 release already-a-classic label. Essential deep
techno.
Just One - Love2Love - Neroli
Super dope house mix from Italy's Isoul8, heading into the territory
of Aaron Carl's 'Sky' or Tortured Soul's 'I might do something wrong'.
Smooooth deep deep house rhythms with male vox - my kinda house music.
If I was from europe, I'd be screaming Tiiip!!
Juan Atkins - Track Ten - New Religion
Legend returns with stunning melancholic breakbeat track ala Model 500's
"The Passage".
K.Degiorgio reworks the drums on the flip. Classic Stuff!
OmarS002
Kinda hazy details on this 4 tracker, simple hypnotizing grooves
in best detroit 'beatdown' tradition - don't sleep!
KDJ016
Not really listened to this properly yet...Inside track sounded pretty
cool.

very much looking forward to getting the Harmonie Park thing,
Iridite on downlow and about a ton of other things, but no cash at the
minute.

Alex
