Name some laptop performances you've seen that
were really good SHOWS. And say why they were. Is it really simply a
case of having stellar visuals as well, or is there a whole new paradigm
out there for this type of performance?

Richard Devine a few years ago in Glasgow. He rocked the entire place, you could see he was really getting into, which the crowd responded to. I've never seen anyone move a mouse with so much glee :)

Conversely Plaid were on just before and looked utterly bored behind their laptops, which was a pretty dull experience for everyone, even though they had fantastic visuals.
