Actually, there was a hip-house party about a month ago here in Toronto
(I'm still in T.O...), and it was AWSOME. Admittedly, a lot of it is
'camp' value and a bit of nostalgia, but a well-mixed set of hip-house
can still work me good.

LOL! yeah NewBeat must be a very close second indeed!
thanx Gerald!! I knew *somebody* out there had to have some idea what

talking about :^)
dude! I'd nearly forgotten Platinum Blonde! anyone who grew up on
Detroit in
the late 80's knows what we're going on about here. sometimes it pays
to
live within range of Canadian television stations. and then there are
times,
like this, when it hurts. a lot.

so. whatever happened to "Electroclash"? one minute it was
everywhere,
and
then :::poof::: it vanished. not that I miss it or anything, but
that
mustve
been the shortest lifespan of *any* of the techno derived mutations
:^)
How long was New Beat around? I'm sure it's a close second.
