Evenin peeps!

Have recently been thinking a fair bit about the labelling of 1Xtra (a BBC station that plays reggae, hip hop, d&b, grime + the odd smattering of 313 and broken beat - apologies to those already familiar) as a station for 'black' music.

Not wishing to reignite the perennial 313 race debate - I'd like to avoid a discussion tbh. However, I thought people who are interested in this issue might be like to read this article and a reponse to it by Thoe Parrish. I found that what he said struck a bit of a chord...
