i see what you're saying martin and to a certain extent you're right. it'd be nice to get away from actually using the mouse etc though and just control from something that is mixer-like.

it'd also be nice in terms of setup at gigs etc to have one thing that you plug into the laptop that
does audio and control.

a uc17/uc33/indigo dj for example in one unit you just throw in yer bag with the laptop when u gig.

People do seem to want to replicate what on screen to a controller, but when you've had hours of practice this simply doesn't matter.
