Re: Jason's question, I've definitely been burnt both ways by either not
knowing that a track doesn't develop or by missing out on something b/c it's
not convincing in the span of the clip. These days, when unconvinced I try to
find different clips of the same track on other sites, and Juno's 60 second
clips usually sort me out (the quality and length of which have been the
secondary reason they're my first stop these days, primary reason being that
their site's stock is very, very accurate). But the main reason I don't shop in
stores often is that I don't trust myself. I feel rushed at the listening booth
and get caught up in the 'shop experience'. I make a lot of regretable
decisions that way, so I find the flaws of online shopping mitigate my
compulsions more effectively (not that you'd know it by the number of records I
buy). I know I miss out on a lot of recommendations by not going into shops,
but I reckon that I can make do with message boards, [313] and the weekly new
release lists I get.

When's the Rub-A-Dub shop opening?
