I agree. Though the "boring" aspect can be perceptible at some times, it
is just due to the fact some of the records are played for a very long
time while other are just short glimpses. But eh, thats the concept.
Damn the first 20 minutes of the mix were previewed at Sonar on a really
grat sounding 5.1 system and they still sound to me the best part of the
mix .... Lot of groove IMO.
And this Detroit Grand Pubah tracks oh damn i could dance on it for
hours !!!!!
The end of the mix is more classic and "trendy" but it becomes
interesting with this Carl Craig track... Too bad it ends at that time
on the CD, coz the DVD mix end very very well with a typical 313
atmosphere IMO.
So,what i like is not the concept or the track selection (im not a huge
fan of minimal) but the structure and the groove. Too bad its present
only in some parts of the mix, that also miss some real peaktime (it
could actually be the beginning eh !!)

I'm going to have to disagree, the album has plenty of cold machine soul
and he does keep it interesting, it may not be a giant leap but it fits
well with his work. It's a great package for 9.99 and I really like the
12" as well, so there :)

Only marginally interesting in concept. Aurally it sucks. No soul. Just
an abundance of ponderance with a dash of psychedelics and a heaping
helping of ego. That sounds suspiciously like the recipe for a steaming
pile of shxt too. Imagine that.
