Oh and this is personal for me: My mom is a composer and arranger, and Sony owes her thousands of dollars in back royalties for work she did in the 90s. Sony only pays her when she goes to the trouble to have a lawyer threaten to sue them. She finally got fed up with Sony and found other sources of income.
The entertainment industry, and especially the musical end of it, is run by gangsters, liars, and thieves. They're lower than low, and they've f*cked with my mom. Since this business started I've boycotted Sony entirely, for all the good it's done.
