Correction...

I slsked two different copies of that "AAW CD 008 System 7 Derrick May
Mysterious Traveller"

One has the (montage mix) from the innovator and the other copy has the
original 12" version.

*sigh* slsk...

Did "he" actually do it? I little bird told me that Carl Craig wrote the
song but I took that with a grain of salt. I just never sounded like pure
"Derrick May" to me, but it sounded exactly like something Carl Craig would
have written. I asked Carl about it and he said he did not remember... Now
I find the original "12 version on a system 7 CD as a collab when the vinyl
only credits May?

Just wondering if anyone had any info as to how Icon came to be and who
actually wrote it. Icon is probably one of my top 3 tracks of all time.

Indeed and is by far the greatest thing he's ever done. It'd be on my
Desert Island Discs

The "Virtual Sex" version has shuffling percussion throughout, and is
8:52 long.
