YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! I've missed you guys damnit!!
May I be the first to say that Robert Hood fuckin rocked at The End on Saturday. He had some live gear with him (no specifics unfortunately - only the 909 was in view) and he used this to maximum effect. He laid down the tightest set I believe I have ever heard - pure hard minimal linear funk all the way, with many of his own tracks sounding great in the mix. He utilised the 909 really well - actually over the top of some of the tracks as opposed to just mixing it as a seperate track, and was creating his own basslines and dropping synth lines as well. His mixing was completely spot on - didn't drop a beat all night.
In addition to this stunning set, I got to meet up with some 313 headz too - Big shout to Martin Clark, Dan Butler, Simon Pascoe and Anya Stang!!
*Great to be back on 313 - the absence made me realise what a sad empty life I have (I'm joking.... shit, no really I'm joking)
