Actually their first live set was at 3 Floors of whor..er...Fun, back in
late 95. I have a very distinct memory of Paris carrying an R8mk2 up the
stairs and how impressive it looked to me at the time. John Williams
also played a set at Exat at Zoots I would like to say sometime in 1997.
John Williams also collaborated with Dale Lawrence on Graviti, on the
first Theorem LP on Plus8.
It was one of the strongest tracks on that album. I have also heard a
bit of gossip that he has a couple mixes floating around for a TH remix
project, but I think Dale might be the guy to ask about this.

"The idea of making music that in some way related to a sense of
place-landscape or environment-had occurred to me many times over the
last 12 years. My conscious exploration of this way of thinking probably
began with Another Green World in 1975. Since then I have become
interested in exaggerating and inventing rather than replicating spaces,
and experimenting with various techniques of time distortion."
