Oh yes! Yes, indeed. When I was there in December (and about as close as you and I came to meeting in person so far) I had a spare couple of hours between working time. "If" was on my list and it turned out I was in the vicinity. Jean-Claude was the best. He set me up with some excellent 7" soul/funk/reggae records. Scored a few strictly limited releases. Before I knew it I had piled up a stack of records that I just *could*not* leave without. Spent all my money there but it was worth it. He's got a way of reading a person's taste and once he's locked on to your style, you better have brought some serious cash. Set me well on my way to where I am at musically today.
