I had fun last weekend. I only went one day Sunday to the festival.

My complaint is the price, yea it is $25 a day, but this is a historically free festival. My biggest complaint is that stupid $3.25 service charge on credit card ticket sale at the box office.

Seriously, you "but this is a historically free festival" people need to
get over it.

People come in from all over for Coachella. They pay $290 to get
fry baked for 3 days.

Burning Man is up over $200.

Sonar and the other Euro festivals are up to $75 a day and higher.

Look, I love Detroit people and I know the economy's depressed.

But 3 days of great music for under $50 total is ridiculously cheap.

End of story.

It just happened to be a "free festival" at the start until someone
realized, "Hey, we're losing our shirts here without people paying
something." That's Reality, kids. Whining about the price at this
point and how it was a "free festival" just makes you sound like a
g0dd&mned Hippie. :)
