Hello Paul, who is "we"?
No offense, many people surely prefer unchanged appearances over new looks one might have to get used to, especially if they require additional layout adaptations. I assume there is a sizable group of people who prefer a new appearance for many other reasons. Life is really easier if you start to understand and even appreciate other people's ideas and approaches. Please remark that I also didn't speak of "old, tiny, unclickable, ugly" icons for the old toolbar. No need to judge, neither set of UIs.
