I still have a problem, because I can't do an apt-get update.

It looks like my system is expecting a signed key.

I think I have screwed a local setting, how can I reset things and rebuild the local key list?

Hi Steve,

the backport repo is not signed, you should be able to use apt-get
install by answering "yes" to the question about security..
