Don't know why this has started (though it's only since some time after I upgraded to 2.0) but everytime I start evolution it's in offline mode.
I have changed the gconf key apps/evolution/shell/start_offline to false, it is reset to true when I start evolution. Even if I start evolution from the shell with evolution --online, it starts offline! I have etch in my sources.list. If this needs reported upstream rather than here I will do so. Maybe someone here knows the answer though.
