Hello!
I want to get my Behringer V-amp2 connected by MIDI with the
Free V-AMP free software project http://www.nongnu.org/freevamp/
1. I succeded to use the Behringer MS software VampDesign2
together with wine (wine vamp2.exe works,
but the layout of the control panel of the vamp2.exe
looks a little bit destroyed, but it's usable of course!!!)
-> The MIDI connection through my M-audio 2496 works fine.
2. I tried to use freevamp
but when I start with >./freevamp -d /dev/midi2
the device V-amp2 can not be detected.
(the file /dev/midi2 exists of course)
I read somewhere that "alsa support is not implemented" in freevamp.
My question is: should freevamp be able to communicate with midi
via /dev/midi2 or is this impossible on my 64studio ?
( how does wine do the midi connection?)
