I tried it but without success.

I 'm not shure if the OSS/free drivers are loaded, because
I can't see any difference with  cat /dev/sndstat after changing 
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base

should I see if the OSS/free drivers are loaded with cat /dev/sndstat ?
