Hi there, after a long time I've come back to the world of Linux Audio and decided to try 64 Studio as the distribution of choice. I downloaded the 3.0 beta3 as it has a newer kernel than 2.1 has.
Have had the following problems: Lots of xruns when starting JACK. Graphics card not working correctly, starts in low graphics mode. Grub lost my Ubuntu 9.04 from the boot menu. (BTW, was it supposed to ask if it's okay to install Grub on MBR? Didn't ask anything, just installed.) Synaptic tried to update the kernel in beta3 (which I presumed was 2.6.29-1-multimedia) to 2.6.29-1-multimedia, resulting in E: subprocess post-installation error 128. If more info needed, please don't hesitate to ask. Are there any ways to fix this or should I go and try with 2.1? -- - Tuukka J. / 100% of Solarians
