I had a NVidia AGP and had less problems, the only serious problem I had when I used Suse with 2 kernels. It's possible to use the driver for more than one kernel, but only if there is the source code and the Suse RT kernels come without the source code. Intel is to expensive for some people and you also can have bad luck when using pure Intel hardware, Arthur is using Windows, Cubase and Halion now. I'm afraid to be the next one who needs to install Windows, Cubase and Halion. Hardware has proved a recipe for grief, when running Linux, because there nowhere is information about hardware that is fine with Linux applications, resp. there is no information about the hardware you can actually buy in Germany. A friend would have bought my Asus M2A-VM HDMI, but I didn't and don't know what motherboard I should buy after given away that Asus. Too funny, a friend using Vista with lots of 2D and 3D animation software was reading about Blender, while he received my mail with links to blender.
