I did use checkinstall since years with Suse. I know a person who got a T-Shirt from his girlfriend, with the slogan: make love, not install Since I'm not using my old 32bit hardware any more, but my new hardware, checkinstall for Suse don't work any more. A long time ago I was asking for checkinstall in this list ;). Nice, I'll install it. Very seldom it also didn't work for my 32bit Suses. :)
