I checked the inferno source of plumber.b, and found it's from emu's source of devsrv.c. In the function of srv2c() in the file, it shows error of "directory not a srv device" which I met, if the /chan directory is mounted directory. This indicates plumber on octopus will not work if it comes from the PC, will it? Kenji
