What I don't userstand is how do we do better than anecdotal evidence; unless we write everything in Z (haeven forbid).
I suppose we have some measures like "XYZfs is simpler so its less likely to have bugs' or age 'ABCfs is so old the bugs are more likely to have been be found', but these are still only subjective measures. In the end we have to fall back on 'it works for me' done we? -Steve
