Thank you, C, for the very gentle response. I am at the very beginning of my plan9 journey, and like to think I have very few illusions about long long it will take. It will be even longer because I try to sweep a broad path whenever I go anywhere.
In my previous two posts, I made clumsy attempts to make two things clear: 1) Despite my "enthusiastic" response to the posts of others, I was aware that adopting this board, presumably with inferno, was not actually realistic until somebody ports plan9 to it, and 2) that I don't expect anybody in the group to jump forward to do the port, just because I have voiced interest in it. On the contrary, for the foreseeable future, I will be very content to enjoy the work that has already been done, continuing my efforts to learn 9 at the level of c.
