Here's hoping you require a command-line flag to enable them. As someone else noted, one way to check for many instances of GCC-dependency in a mass of source code is to use a compiler that *doesn't* support for the myriad GCC features. Some of the current Linux programmers have no idea when they have used GCC-specific features (usually quite unnecessarily).
