Silk: Thanx Jim for the input that was the solution.I
have had a computer functioning fine at night,
switched it off & in the morning something was awry?
"It's electronics" a friend is always saying to me as
a way of explanation for these unaccountable things &
the computer makes many, many calculations & is (I
suppose not perfect & apt to occasionaly get a bit
confused). I do have a question you might have an
answer to. On one of my computers when I push the
button it takes a bit more time then I would like it
to to shut down. Another computer shuts down
immediately? I went to BIOS but I didn't see anything
there to adjust.. Whatcha think>   thanx/Silk
