I had been following the conversation between you and Donk. I had
already tried everything but disabling add on applications. I decided to
disable ALL add ons.

This worked.

The computer has been active with all the windows open for 8 hours. I
have answered several emails and played games. The issue has not
reoccurred.

I don't seem to have the issue anymore. I have come to the conclusion
that an add on was causing the problem. I have not shut down java or Flash.

If you are still having the issue, shut down ALL add on applications in
Firefox. If this solves the problem, activate them one at a time. Use
your browser for a couple of hours between activations. This is an
attempt to find out which one is causing your problem.

For me it seems to be the Youtube Downloader Toolbar.
