I have tried a bunch.  My problem with Malware Bytes, is that, while it 
find the problems, they want me to pay, to get rid of them.

I am computer savvy, but I want to avoid reformatting at all costs. I 
don't have any spare hard drives for this computer(it was a birthday 
gift, back in May).

The 'System Restore' function, seems flakey, too.
