Yeah, 2.6 GB in 2:22 minutes from your back ports would def be at least usb 2.0 speed. I recently got a usb 3.0 mobo and bought a usb 3.0 thumb drive. Transferred a one hour. avi tv show: via my usb 2 port took 37 seconds. via my usb 3 port took only 6 seconds. :-)
