I think that we should add the change log, or the program to generate the change log.

this is scary! :)

we should provide, IMHO, a limited changelog AND the cvs2cl program.
that way, those that are fond of history, can walkthrough the output of cvs2cl, and 
everyone olse can take a peek at what changend in the, oh, say last 2 releases?
