Point taken, but my intention was to be helpful in the first instance.

I am no programmer, so I cannot contribute to the common good, only by passing on 
information.

I run win95 and there are very few GPL programmes available, Abi being one, so I have 
to use free versions of commercial programmes.

When Reactos is ready for general use, I hope to use that and with it's Posix 
compatibility all the GNU software may be available, but I am also keeping an eye on 
OpenBeOs.
