Hmm, that sound like a good idea -- I was thinking if the footer 
included something like the below, depending on your mail client you 
could just click on it and send a reply.

In kmail I can click on it, and it generates a reply to the list, but 
unfortunately it doesn't quote anything.  I wonder if the behavior is 
any different in some other mail clients.  Or maybe I need to do 
something like right click on the address -- I'll try a few things, but 
I'm not too confident of success.

Oh, wait -- in kmail I can right click it, then I get a context menu 
with several choices including:

   * Send to
   * Send reply to
   * Forward to

If I select send reply to, a reply is generated (to the address clicked) 
and the entire message is quoted.  Looks good!

How about some feedback from users of some other mail clients?
