As far as I know, Memo type fields are treated like text fields but
characters after the 255th position are not searchable by SQL. Can't think
of much else.

Hai,
I hope memo cannot be handled as strings(text).
I want to get the long message in text box and store in the table in
access database. This cannot be achived with text datatype, as it can
hold only data upto 255 characters length. The only option is to go
for memo. Can anyone help me to know how to store the message from
text box to the field with memo datatype and also how to retrive memo
data in report.
