Something like this, presumably in the Detail_Format
section. It won't work in Report_Open, as your controls aren't bound
yet.
'***** code start
*****'
Dim ctl As
Control
Dim intCount As Integer
Dim intCount As Integer
For Each ctl In
Me.Controls
If TypeOf ctl Is CheckBox Then
If ctl <> 0 Then
intCount = intCount + 1
End If
End If
Next
If TypeOf ctl Is CheckBox Then
If ctl <> 0 Then
intCount = intCount + 1
End If
End If
Next
MsgBox "We've
got " & intCount & " checkboxes checked."
'***** code end
*****'

Subject: [AccessDevelopers] counting check box values in a report
I have a report with check boxes as yes/no fields. I want to count the
check boxes that are checked on the report. Is there a way of doing
this. I have checked the Internet for solutions but none work. Most
solutions prompt me to enter a value in a prompt box. I would try to
avoid this.
Please help.
Jim
