Coincidentally, I am working on a similar report regarding course activity & including identification of delegates that were a NoShow. The NoShow field is a logical field displayed in the Detail band of the report. In the footer, I want to count the number of NoShows.
I think this is what Jim is after as well. Using: =count([NoShow]), merely counts all the noshow fields, 1 for each record irrespective of true or false. I have tried various other options, but currently have failed miserably.
Jim & I would appreciate some guidance here.

Something like this, presumably in the Detail_Format section. It won't work in Report_Open, as your controls aren't bound yet.
