[AG-TECH] beacon 1.1 for windows

i have installed the following version of beacon for windows XP: 
http://dast.nlanr.net/projects/beacon/releases/beacon_common-1.1.win32-py2.3.exe
 ,i don`t know if i have installed the right version ,and i don`t know how to 
use it,please give me some advice.
