Hello all, 1. It is not reasonable to ask the airlines to provide an attendant to stay with the blind person for the duration that the person waits in the lounge. It must be borne in mind that most airlines have a staff crunch, and sparing attendants will not be easy. Besides, the blind person may not be the only disabled person travelling in that aircraft.
2. Asking for concession on the already discounted fare is highly unreasonable. 3. The whole point of airline staff providing us assistance is to eliminate the need for an escort.
