There are two posts for Visually Impaired as  Junior Assistant in Coffee Board,
Bengaluru. Qualification: (i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a
recognized Board or University. (ii) A typing speed of 35 words per minute
in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. Age: 18-27 years.
Location / place of postings:

 In the Board’s offices located anywhere in India. Probation Period:
Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

There is one post as Professor and one post as Associate Professor for Visually
Impaired in Tezpur University, Assam.  Qualification: (i) Professor:  i) An
eminent scholar having at least 55% of marks at Master’s degree or an
equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed
with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline
and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
evidence of published work with a minimum of 10  publications as books and
/ or research / policy papers.  (ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching
experience in university / college, and / or experience in research at the
University / National level institutions / industries, including experience
of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.  (ii)  Associate
Professor:  Essential:  (i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the
concerned / allied / relevant disciplines.  (ii) A Master’s Degree with at
least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever
grading system is followed.(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of
teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to
that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research
Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence
of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or
research / policy papers.  Interested and eligible persons may submit their
applications in the prescribed format” available in the University website

2. Event-

NAB Centre for Blind Women is glad to
share that completing 13 years, its Centre's annual festival, Ujjwala, is
here, showcasing performances by bright
blind youth. Hundreds of blind students participate in the festival every
year.   Its also the time for exhibition and sale of its unique and special
diwali diyas, ethnic gift items and chocolates made by the blind
girls. It usually holds retail stalls at hotels and corporates.  We
