The visually impaired girls who have been selected for a singing
competition to be organised by Doordarshan  titled 'Meri Aawaz Suno'
on Monday called on Chief Minister Raman Singh at his residence here.
Roop Varsha Kerketta from Jashpur district and Sarita Dewangan of
Raipur district of Chhattisgarh have been selected for the programme,
officials stated. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes and
blessed the talented girls for their bright future. Singh said that
entire nation will watch and admire the talent of these daughters of
Chhattisgarh. Doordarshan telecasts this programme to provide a
platform for talents of disabled children. Live telecast of the final
competition to be held at Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi will be
done on Doordarshan on November 22 from 7 pm. Both the girls told the
Chief Minister that they will be soon be leaving for New Delhi to

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will confer national award to Hoshangabad
Collector Sanket Bhondve for excellent works for rehabilitation and
upliftment of disabled persons. The award will be conferred in New
Delhi on December 3.In Hoshangabad district, various welfare
programmes and activities for upliftment of disabled persons have
yielded encouraging results. The Central Government has selected
Hoshangabad in the category of best districts.To make disabled persons
self-reliant and settle them, development block level introductory
conventions of would-be disabled grooms and brides were held. As many
as 51 disabled couples' marriages were soleminised at mass marriage
functions at district level. The newly married disabled couples were
blessed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. At the convention,
disabled couples were given gifts by various social organisations Atal
Bal Palaks.They performed Kanyadan of disabled brides like their
parents and are still extending financial assistance to them and
fulfilling other social responsibilities. Muslim disabled couples'
marriages were also solemnised at the mass marriage function. Newly
married couples with provided grant of `50,000 each and their Aadhaar
cards and Jan-Dhan bank accounts were opened on the spot and sanction
orders issued pertaining to Rupay Card and benefits under other

Trust, Kolkata. Qualification: (i) Hindi Assistant :  Degree from a
recognized University with English and Hindi as subject combinations.
ii) Experience - Two years in Hindi Translation work.  Preference will
be given to those who are proficient in computer works.   (ii) Clerk
and (iii) Typist:  i) Educational Qualification: -Matriculate or
equivalent from recognized Board, preference will be given to the
candidates possessing higher educational qualifications. ii) Knowledge
in computer application is desirable. (iv)  Peon:  Minimum Class –
VIII passed . Age limit for all posts: 30 years. Willing candidates
