Six months ago, I and other candidates from different parts of the country took up the case with the CCPD. they issued the notice to the HRD and the UGC and it resulted in clear-cut mentioning of scribe fee Rs 1000 in the December 2015 NET Notification. However the issue still persists. The main reason behind centers disallowing candidates' own scribe is Rs 1000. They want this money to go to someone who is known to them. This is exactly the reason some of the centres play with blind candidates' lives.
