hello, With the price, Rs 9,999, iBall CompBook Excelance could well be the cheapest 11.6-inch laptop in the world. Powered by Intel Atom processors and running Microsoft Windows 10, the company has also launched a 14.1-inch version Exemplaire at Rs 13,999.
Both come with HD screens and have a large 10,000 mAh battery, which the company claims will provide 8.5 hours of video playback and 22 hours of music. The laptops come with similar specs on-board, including a 1.83 GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor, and pre-installed Windows 10. The devices have 2GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage, with microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB expandable memory. They also support external HDD. iBall Excelance and Exemplaire support WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI port and 2 USB ports. They are equipped with dual speakers and a 3.5 mm combo headphone and mic jack. Both the laptops are currently running Windows 10 Home Edition but The iBall laptops come with an optional Insurance pack, which covers accidental damage, theft, breakage and one-year warranty pack. The iBall Excelance and Exemplaire come in Cobalt blue and Cobalt brown colour variants. Another option would be InFocus Buddy, offered by US-based tech giant a portable notebook, that runs on Windows 10 for Rs 14,999. InFocus Buddy is our endeavour to cater to the core needs of youth - Internet browsing, multimedia and portability. The laptop delivers high performance, superior build quality of Foxconn, and a high design quotient while being low on budget, The InFocus Buddy features a 13.3-inch HD display and is powered by 2.6 GHz Intel Celeron processor paired up with 2 GB RAM. It comes with a 32 GB eMMC storage and allows users to add up to 256 GB SSD internal storage. The battery in InFocus Buddy provides a backup of 8 hours. It supports a micro-SD card slot, two USB 3.0 ports and a HDMI port. I have tested the Iball Compbook by loading the screen readers like jaws and NVDA and its working fine.
