Dear all,
I have recently upgraded my new laptop that came built in with Windows
8.1 to Windows 10. Although my initial impressions of Windows 10 are
not good, I would like to persist.
Is Cortana available in India? If so, how could it be
enabled/configured? From Cortana and Search Settings, I have set up my
microphone, tried the I'm Cortana, ask my anything button, but without
any success. Could someone please give me some basic instructions on
just getting Cortana started, working?
Also, I would like to turn my monitor display completely off, and the
Windows + P and then Projector/Second screen only trick is not working
on Windows 10. Choosing Second screen only by pressing it shows no
confirmation prompt nor any practical effect, as a sighted person
confirms.
I am also facing other general issues, such as seemingly adversely
affected audio, reduced battery life, Skype crashes and what not, all
after upgrading to Windows 10, and if there is nothing major that I
find out to resolve all this for the better, I may need to just roll
back to Windows 8.1, though I sincerely wish to avoid that...
Thanks.
