administration is all set to construct a ‘Touch and Smell Park’ for
the visually impaired persons and children to know by touching the
monuments and other structures. This facility will enable them to feel
about the Seven Wonders of the World, Indian monuments, national
geography, transport system, Telangana monuments and symbols of the
State under one roof. Member of Parliament K. Kavitha on Tuesday laid
the foundation for the project that will cost Rs. 58 lakh and
constructed at the Tilak Garden. The first ‘Touch and Smell Park for

design has been selected for the project. A structure with four feet
fibre-made 38 historical monuments on all the concepts will be erected
in the park. This park will be the second of its kind in the world.
