Age Limit: 21 years. The candidates will have to send their

Ankur Dhama, a totally blind mid and long-distance runner will be the
first blind athlete to represent India in the Paralympic Games to be
held on 7 – 18 September 2016, in Rio-de Janeiro, Brazil. He will take
part in 1500 meters (T-11) event in totally blind category. Indian
Blind Sports Association (IBSA) is proud that Ankur, who has been
nurtured by it, and trained under its Chief Coach Dr.Satyapal Singh
(Dronacharya Awardee) is representing India in the Paralympics.

The Blind Relief Association, jointly with Indian Blind Sports
Association (IBSA) is organizing a send-off function at 11:30 am on
Wednesday, 31 August at the Blind Relief Association, Delhi wishing
Ankur a grand success in the Rio Games. Ankur Dhama will leave for Rio
on 31 August night.  We would greatly appreciate it if you could find
time from your busy schedule to join us in wishing Mr. Ankur great
success.
